Alkanet Powder

Alkanet (Alkanna tinctoria) root powder produces a natural light purple colour in cold process soap. 
Hot Infuse with your choice of oils then allow to sit in a dark place for four weeks with mixing every two-three days.  Alternatively you can add directly to your lye solution.
Strain the oil/lye then use the in your cold process soap.  
Natural soap colurant powders and the final soap product sould be kept out of direct sunlight as natural colours fade quickly when exposed to direct sunlight.
